Upon request, we will provide a superbill (a detailed receipt with billing codes, also called CPT codes) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. If your insurer requires additional documentation, we are happy to provide it. This helps many families recover part of their costs.

In most cases, yes. You can use your FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) card for copays, balances, or the full cost of services if you’re paying out of pocket. Payments are processed through Stripe, our PCI-certified partner. Whether a charge goes through depends on how your card is set up by your bank or plan administrator. If a charge doesn’t process, you can use another method and request reimbursement from your HSA/FSA provider. If unsure, check with your plan before your visit.

When you receive a new bill from MindWeal, we send three weekly text reminders with a link to pay online. If unpaid, we then mail a paper statement. If the bill is still unpaid 30 days after the statement, we send another text reminder followed by a final letter two weeks later. Accounts not settled at that point are referred to a collection agency, and we are unable to continue services such as appointments, medication refills, communications, or referrals. If the bill remains unpaid after 3 electronic reminders, we will send you a statement in the mail. You can then choose to make the payment by mailing us a check, sending your credit card information through the mail, or simply calling us with your credit or debit card details. Please note that we do not accept cash, money orders or demand drafts.

Every patient keeps a credit card on file, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe, our PCI-certified partner.

If you use insurance: Your copay is charged automatically on the day of your visit. After we submit the claim to your insurance company, any remaining balance is billed separately. You’ll receive up to three text reminders, each with a secure payment link processed by ClearGage (another PCI-certified partner).

If you use DirectPay: The full cost of your visit is charged automatically on the day of your appointment, processed securely by Stripe.

The cost of our services depends on whether you use your insurance or pay out of pocket. If we accept your insurance, we will first bill your insurance, and you will be responsible for any pending balance, which includes your copay and any amount not covered by your insurance plan. If you choose to pay out of pocket, you'll be accountable for the entire payment. Costs vary depending on the required service type and whether you opt for bundled services. We accept commercial plans of BCBS of all states, United Health Care (UHC), Cigna & Health Alliance Network. TriCare is also accepted as an out-of-network provider. If you're a TriCare member, consult with them about your specific plan's coverage for our services.
