Specialized experts in
child & adolescent
mental health
We are a team of dedicated pediatric mental health clinicians, united by one mission: to deliver accurate, consistent, and supportive care to children, teens, and their families.

Dr. Rahul Bansal has cared for children and teens across nearly every clinical setting—from large academic hospitals in Detroit and Ann Arbor to community clinics and rural care programs throughout the Midwest. He trained at top institutions including the University of Michigan and the Detroit Medical Center, and is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Over the years, he has evaluated and treated thousands of young people with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and complex co-occurring concerns. And in every environment, he saw the same pattern: families doing everything right—calling, waiting, advocating—within a system that wasn’t designed around kids. Short visits, fragmented communication, rushed checklists, and inconsistent follow-up too often left parents without clear answers or a plan they could trust.

MindWeal is his answer to that problem.
Dr. Bansal founded MindWeal to create a new standard of pediatric mental health care—one built on comprehensive and accurate assessment, tailored and collaborative treatment, and ongoing support that truly centers children, families, and the clinicians who care for them. The goal isn’t quick fixes. It’s building a true wellness wayfinder for families: a structured, supportive system that guides them throughout their child’s mental-health journey.
Every part of MindWeal’s model reflects his core belief: children get better lwhen their care is accurate, coordinated, and designed around their real lives.

OUR CLINICIAN PLAYBOOK
How we train & support our providers
Great care for families starts with great support for clinicians. At MindWeal, every provider
practices within a pediatric psychiatry framework led by Dr. Bansal — with structured
training, ongoing supervision, and data-informed guidance built into every step of care.

1
Structured onboarding & model training
Every clinician completes a thorough, child- and teen-focused onboarding program that introduces them to the MindWeal care model, our clinical tools, treatment guidelines, and collaborative decision-making practices. New providers follow clear standards and care pathways — and receive active supervision, not just chart review.

2
Direct supervision & case review
Providers meet regularly with Dr. Bansal and senior clinicians to review cases, discuss complex situations, and ensure decisions are thoughtful, supported, and aligned with best practices. No clinician practices in isolation – every family benefits from a team behind the scenes.

3
Protocols with room for judgment
MindWeal’s protocols are rooted in evidence-based pediatric psychiatry, giving clinicians a strong foundation for decision-making. At the same time, each provider uses their judgment to tailor care to every child and family. The goal is simple: consistency where it matters, flexibility where it’s needed.

4
Ongoing learning & feedback
Data from M-Wise, clinical assessments, and the Wellness Score help us see what’s working in real life. Clinicians receive continuous feedback and ongoing education so they keep growing — and families benefit from a model that keeps improving over time.
