Autism is a collection of symptoms that often requires evaluation by multiple specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and developmental pediatricians. The first step is completing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with one of our board-certified providers to understand the root causes of your child’s symptoms.
If autism is suspected, additional testing — such as IQ testing, speech and language evaluations, or occupational therapy assessments — may be recommended based on your child’s symptom profile. We coordinate referrals to trusted specialists for these evaluations.
Once all evaluations are completed, the results are sent back to us. We integrate all findings to create a clear, comprehensive understanding of your child’s needs and to develop a personalized treatment plan. We also advocate for services and accommodations your child may need within the school system.
The entire process is overseen by our board-certified psychiatric providers, ensuring a coordinated and expert approach.
